My Bedside Bin

What ‘s a Bedside Bin?

My bedside bin is a collection of books and projects that I’m working through the month of August. These bins have been a mainstay since college although I use the word “bin” loosely. This month, I am using a collapsable black fabric bin. In the past, I have also used a basket, a tote bag, sometimes an ever-expanding pile on the floor. What I keep in my bin has changed as often as my needs.

For example, sometimes, my Kindle Paperwhite lives in this bin, but more often than not, it’s under my pillow (that’s another post). I’ve also put fidget toys, headphones, journals, and more in the pile too. I store it under the end table on whatever side of the bed I am sleeping on as it changes due to living with chronic pain.

What’s Inside My Bedside Bin?

Anyway, between writing, surfing the web for random information, and cleaning, I decided to reorganize my bin and make this post, because, ‘why not?’ This is what it currently looks like. In truth, since taking this photo this morning, I have added a few journals and two other books to the pile.

Where do I get my books?

Side note: I recommend that you borrow your books from your local library. However, if you prefer to/want to/have to purchase physical copies of books, please do some from Bookshop.org. Prefer audiobooks? Try Libro.fm. Both support local independent bookstores.

I’m an affiliate for Libro.fm, so please use the following banner to take you to Libro.fm to learn about how they support local, independent bookstores.
